Lead C++ Software Engineer

WiseTech Global is the market-leading provider of software solutions for the Supply Chain and Logistics industry. Engineer founded, engineer led - we make products for the largest companies in the logistics space globally (like - DHL, FedEx, UPS) and they depend on our software to optimise their processes. This role will sit in our Xware team working on xTrade - our integrations platform used by WiseTech and our customers, to ensure a smooth flow of data and information.

We're looking to hire a Lead C++ Software Engineer to join our Xware team. Xware’s secure and interoperable messaging solution xTrade, is designed to link organisations to their suppliers and partners, allowing them to safely share information. This software plays a key link in our world leading solution – connecting the supply chain.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in C++ back end programming for large scale systems

• Experience leading a product team

• Experience in data communications, security protocols and distributed systems

• Knowledge of SQL is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead your teams overall delivery, ensuring high quality of design, development and testing of new features

• Working closely with product and other cross functional teams on the planning, prioritization, and execution of projects

• Mentor engineers on your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth

• Tackle technical challenges, helping the team remove challenges that block progress

• Documentation work, both content for end users and internal documentation.
