The depth and breadth of the accounting features is constantly being expanded to meet the accounting needs of multinational businesses operating in a global context. Accounting Product team members draw on their domain knowledge and industry expertise to define and implement features to meet all aspects of accounting.

Accounting Product Specialist Job Responsibility

• Design requirements and perform functional testing for accounting products, research market and user needs, and improve products accordingly while participating in the development of relevant software projects.
• Utilize accounting business knowledge and financial software experience to guide local team members and provide ongoing business support to clients.
• Demonstrate strong problem analysis and process documentation skills.
• Design and implement solutions, and write requirements/specifications for the development team.
• Build and maintain a product information repository to support future product development.
• Exhibit self-driven learning abilities and maintain continuous self-improvement.
• Show strong communication and collaboration skills.

Your knowledge and Understanding

• In-depth Knowledge of Accounting and Financial Practices: You possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices, backed by relevant academic qualifications or professional experience in a product role, with a track record of collaborating effectively with cross functional teams to successfully build B2B SaaS products.
• Experience with Financial Software: You have hands-on experience with financial software systems, giving you the ability to guide team members and provide ongoing support to clients.
• Product Development and Specification Writing: You understand the product development lifecycle and have experience in designing requirements, testing functionalities, and writing detailed specifications for development teams.
• Market and User Research: You are skilled in conducting thorough market research and understanding user needs, which allows you to make informed decisions on product improvements.
• Problem Analysis and Solution Design: You are adept at analyzing problems and designing effective solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: You understand the importance of strong communication and collaboration within a team.
• Self-driven Learning and Development: You have a proactive approach to learning and personal development.
• Industry-specific Experience (Preferred): If applicable, you bring valuable experience from related industries such as logistics, warehousing, freight, or import/export customs clearance.
