The role:

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide critical network operations support to diagnose and mitigate datacentre network incidents
  • Troubleshoot network connection issues, including device configuration and low-level application interaction, minimize downtime across our suite of network infrastructure, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to keep us ahead of disruptions
  • Contribute to the strategic vision of our network operations, assisting in the design and implementation of robust network solutions that enhance performance and reliability
  • Work cross-functionally, collaborating with the Information Service team internally and external team ensuring network projects are executed effectively.
  • Regularly analyse network performance, and improve network connectivity from configuration adjustments and hardware upgrades to bandwidth management, ensuring datacentre network meets the growing needs of business.

Who you are:

Curious about software-defined networking? Experienced with open-source technologies? If you tick most of the following boxes, you should get in touch:

  • Deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack and OSI model
  • Strong Palo Alto experience, or equivalent enterprise-wide stateful deep packet inspection, application-aware modern firewalls
  • Extensive experience designing, engineering, and troubleshooting in datacentre and campus networks, spine-leaf network is highly preferred
  • Advanced experience designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting WAN/LAN technologies
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching, BGP, EVPN, Vxlan
  • Deep understanding of SNMP and network monitoring systems
  • Strong knowledge of Linux network technology
