At WiseTech, we operate a hybrid environment, and for this role, we are seeking a Systems Engineer with excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, experienced with both Windows and Linux servers & infrastructure. This role will involve managing the infrastructure of our recently acquired business units, handling a mix of operational support and projects mainly around migrations and new deployments.
Day-to-day, this role will involve installing, configuring, and maintaining our infrastructure and tenant environments including responding to faults at hardware and software levels, as well as analysing and monitoring our systems.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience with VMware, XEN, Hyper-V or other virtualization technologies
- Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
- Experience supporting users in both Microsoft & Linux environments
- Experience troubleshooting network connections including VPN client
- 3+ years experience in a system engineering/administration position
