About WiseTech Global

At WiseTech Global, our technology powers the world’s supply chains. From the largest freight forwarders to thousands of logistics companies across 180+ countries, our systems keep trade moving. With our recent acquisition of e2Open, we’re expanding that impact - and with it, our responsibility to protect critical systems on a global scale.

This role is your opportunity to lead the charge in maturing e2Open’s security posture and bringing it up to WiseTech’s world-class standards. You’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with the ability to shape processes and practices across a complex, fast-growing environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Security Engineer, you’ll focus on three core pillars:

  • SIEM: Configure, tune, and operate SIEM platforms to improve detection, response, and visibility across diverse environments.
  • Vulnerability Management: Lead vulnerability scanning and remediation, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Incident Response: Take point in managing security incidents — from detection through investigation and resolution — while embedding continuous improvement into the process.

Beyond These Core Areas, You’ll Also

  • Run and maintain key security tools, ensuring they’re effectively configured and integrated.
  • Drive automation-first approaches, reducing manual overhead and scaling security practices globally.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to embed security into operations and culture.
  • Help shape the roadmap for security maturity within e2Open, balancing immediate needs with long-term resilience.

About You

You’re not just a technologist – you’re passionate about security, and thrive on making proactive, lasting impact in your work. You bring:

  • A proven track record in SIEM operations, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and running security tools, not just managing them.
  • Strong automation skills (e.g., scripting, orchestration) to drive efficiency and scale.
  • The ability to lead through influence, guiding teams to adopt better practices and raising the overall security bar.
  • Experience navigating the challenges of complex, fast-changing environments (M&A exposure a plus).
  • Formal qualifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are valued, but what matters most is your ability to deliver real-world security outcomes at scale.

Why WiseTech Global

This is a rare chance to make a lasting impact from day one. In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead the integration of a large new acquisition into WiseTech’s security standards.
  • Apply your expertise on a global stage, protecting systems that underpin world trade.
  • Shape security practices at scale, while still staying close to the technical details.
  • Work in an environment that values initiative, ownership, and continual learning.

If you’re ready to combine hands-on technical depth with strategic influence - and want to leave your mark on a global business at a pivotal moment - we’d love to hear from you.
