The Opportunity – Product Specialist, TMS:

CargoWise Landside features a suite of solutions built to power the movement of containers by road, by rail, and container exchange. Within containers by road specifically, we’re bringing together several of the top, longest standing container drayage TMSs alongside complementary products and connectivity within the global supply chain to automate and provide visibility across all aspects of import and export drayage operations. Our goal is to improve container movement efficiency between terminals, owners, and exporters by tackling landside logistics complexities comprehensively and at scale.

As a member of the TMS Product Team, you’ll develop deep product expertise. You’ll leverage your industry knowledge and technical skills to continually improve the product and its value for our customers. You will work closely within the product team to identify product enhancements, develop functional specifications, and handle Tier 3 escalations from Product Support.

Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Become expert in assigned TMS modules and functionalities
• Identify and suggest product enhancements to improve end-user experience and productivity
• Assist Product Managers with a wide range of projects and tasks as needed
• Conduct in depth business analysis and testing of functionalities as required
• Write detailed functional specifications for new functionality or changes
• Review and provide direction for Support Team on Tier 3 support escalations
• Utilize CargoWise1 (PAVE) system daily to process work items and tasks

Requirements:

• Industry experience in intermodal drayage, freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain
• Experience working cross functionally with development teams
• Experience writing and executing functional specifications
• Experience troubleshooting product incidents in a software or technical environment
• Ability to excel and adapt in a fast paced environment
• Strong analytical and business analysis skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
