The Role and You
Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager the role will expose you to the inner workings of the wider finance team both locally and internationally and will be your opportunity to make real change. This role will cover leases accounting, fixed assets accounting and intercompany accountings for the group and actively partner with key stakeholders.

You are a highly organized and methodical thinker, comfortable prioritising and managing multiple deliverables. You are also proficient in identifying, establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals on a global scale. You have solid analytical abilities and the ability to self-serve and problem solve. You'll also need to be the type of character who thrives in a non-hierarchical environment and rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.
Key Accountabilities
- Ownership of Group PPE (Fixed Assets) and Lease accounting
- Enhancing business partnerships with the IS and Group Property teams
- Overseeing Intercompany transactions
- Subject Matter Expert for the implementation of Fixed Assets and Lease modules in D365
Leases:
- Business partnering with the global property team
- Lease register maintenance
- IFRS16 Movement Analysis
- Lease reconciliation between RAM and Lease Harbour
- Short term lease analysis
- ROA asset and Lease liability notes
- Discount rate analysis
- ARO and ARC accounting and valuation requirements
- Statutory notes preparation and assisting in Group Audit process
- Current/Non-current split of relevant BS accounts
- Make Good Provision, Leasehold Improvements, Rental Bond Analysis and Reconciliation
- SME for lease module implementation within D365
Fixed Assets:
- Maintain and update the Accounting & Tax fixed assets register, including recording additions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments in RAM.
- Maintain tax low value pool
- Business partnering with IS team on projects including Data Centres
- Business partnering with Tax Team and PwC
- Business partnering with Global Property Team to assess the fixed assets impact of lease terminations
- Conduct physical inventories of fixed assets
- Ensure accurate valuation and compliance of fixed assets in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Liaise with stakeholders to propose appropriate accounting treatments
- Perform monthly global reconciliations of fixed assets and prepare movement summaries for board pack
- Prepare PPE notes for financial statements during reporting periods
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors
- Provide relevant support to FP&A, Tax, IS, and ESG teams as required
- Monitor and track projects in the fixed assets under construction account
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all fixed asset transactions and activities
- SME for Fixed Assets implementation within D365
Intercompany Accounting:
- Monthly IC balance reconciliations
- Unrealised FX calculations and bookings
- Assist and facilitate the monthly IC transfer pricing booking checking and IC settlement process
Your Experience
- Professional Accountant with 3-5 years’ experience with appropriate qualification (Chartered Accountant, CPA or similar)
- Working experience is IFRS16, Fixed Assets accounting
