As a Business Development Executive at WiseTech Global, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding our presence across the Korean and Asian market. This is a key growth area for WiseTech, so your success in this role will have a major impact. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential and existing clients, and executing strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced business development professional with a deep understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

You will be selling a world leading product, that is built using the latest software tools by industry experts. We take pride in delivering solutions that make a significant difference to our customers, partners, staff, shareholders and the logistics industry at large. Our people are innovators and visionaries and we have a long track record of building global solutions that are changing the world of logistics.

This is a Dual language role, requiring both Korean & English.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for generating new business leads in the Korean market.
  • Collaborate with current customers to identify new revenue opportunities and upsell additional modules.
  • Expand WiseTech Global’s footprint in the Korean logistics market by working with both regional and global teams.
  • Consistently meet and exceed performance targets as outlined in the company’s commission structure.
  • Attend trade fairs and events to represent WiseTech Global, network with industry professionals, and generate new business opportunities.
Experience:
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both Korean and English is essential for effective communication and market penetration.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, strategic consulting roles with a focus on new market expansion and supply chain optimisation
  • General knowledge of logistics and experience working within the logistics environment. Proven sales skills and a track record of successful business development.
  • A proactive problem solver with a consultative selling style. Strong ability to work within a team, identify and address underlying challenges, and communicate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
