- We welcomed almost 620 new team members
- Our team grew 15% to nearly 3,500 talented people globally
- 62% of our workforce is focused on product design and development
- Strong engagement saw employee turnover reduce further to 7.5% and is well below the industry average of 12.5
- 400+ software engineers and product specialists took part in our rotations program
- Our people completed 57,000+ hours of training via structured learning opportunities, more than double the training hours in FY23
- Over 180 team members signed up to mentor new software developers on rotation
- 31% of senior managers and 32% of our overall workforce are women, in line with our targets and consistent with FY23. We increased representation of women on the Board to 43% with the appointment of new Non-Executive Directors Lisa Brock and Fiona Pak-Poy
- Reported Australian gender and workforce data to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), including our 2024 Gender Pay Gap Report which sets out the action we are taking.
- Almost 90% of our team hold shares or share rights in WiseTech Global
Education
Making a positive contribution to society is at the core of WiseTech’s DNA, supporting our social license to operate, building capacity and driving positive social impact.
Our education initiatives are designed to build skills and passion for technology and creative problem solving and drive a diverse pipeline for our future tech workforce.
- Expanded our Earn and Learn Program with over 50 undergraduate students joining the 2024 cohort, bringing the total number of students on the scheme to 78
- Reached more than 5,000 upper high school and university students at BiG Day In careers events, inspiring Australian students to start careers in tech
- 19% increase in the number of courses completed on WiseTech Academy by external customers, which offers accessible and affordable online technology and global supply chain learning
Net zero carbon
Our strategic objective for our Net zero carbon impact priority area is that our global operations are net zero carbon and our products support customers to reduce emissions from global logistics.
- We announced the inclusion of a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions calculator as a new product feature for CargoWise Next, WiseTech’s next generation platform
- We expanded our Scope 3 (value-chain) emissions inventory to account for additional relevant categories
- We continued to offset 100% of our Scope 1 and 2 market-based emissions while we continued to transition to clean energy sources as part of our net zero operations pathway
